| Point | Location | Detail |
|---|---|---|

Bleachers available: Bleacher seating is set up along the parade route. Bleacher spots go fast. Arrive between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM to secure a bleacher seat. Sidewalk space is plentiful along the full length of the route. Crowds typically line five to six people deep on both sides of West Fourth Street.
Road closures: West Fourth Street closes to vehicle traffic before the parade begins. Plan your driving route to Williamsport to avoid Fourth Street between Maynard and Market. The City of Williamsport Bureau of Police posts road closure details on its official page before the event.
What Happens at the Grand Slam Parade
The Grand Slam Parade is not a short neighborhood walkthrough. It is a full-scale community event with more than 100 units participating. The event runs approximately 90 minutes from start to finish.

Catch a baseball: LLWS players throw baseballs to fans along the route from their floats. Kids who want a souvenir baseball should stand near the front of the crowd and make eye contact with players on the floats. Teams with strong fan followings typically throw the most. Bring a glove if you want to catch rather than scramble.
